Respected sir, 

    I beg to draw your kind and sympathetic attention to the following fact. I have been living in this city for the last 5 years. My consumer ID is ——

I want to inform you that the electric bill from last 3 months has increased continuously but my uses are still constant. I am quite shocked to receive the electricity bill for my house for the last three months. It is just not possible to have used so much of electricity in the last three months as I was out of station with my family for one month and the house was locked. The bill for these 3 months is almost twice the amount of my regular bills. I kindly request you to correct the current bill and issue a fresh bill for these three months. Otherwise please adjust the excess amount to be paid by me for the current wrong bill amount in the next month’s bill payment.

I request you to look into this matter seriously and send your person to check weather somebody is doing theft of electricity from my meter or the meter is faulty. If there is an issue, please replace it. Please inform me the reason of getting so much excess bill and when you are going to send your person to check my meter.

I appreciate if this matter of unfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest. Waiting for your immediate action.
