Eviction Notice Responding Letter Template

You must express in writing to the landlord how his intention of eviction has upset you and your family members who have been staying on particular premises for a long period of time.

You must remind him of paying the rent on time and never causing any trouble for him. You must convince him with the fact that you have been a genuine tenant and so never gave the opportunity of raising any complaint against you.

Sub: Letter to Respond to Eviction Notice

Dear (Name of the Recipient),

Thank you for informing me about your intention to evict us from your house (mention the address and details of the house). I am living there for the past (mention the time period) years with my family.

I never neglected any of the payments or deposits claimed by you in those years. But this time I would like to request you a suspension of eviction due to my serious but short time problem regarding my financial status.

I have always tried my best to perform my duties as a good and responsible tenant. I have never caused any disturbance regarding loud sounds, wild parties, violent behavior, or damaging any property.  I have always stood out as a dutiful citizen and tenant in this society.

I am sorry for being late in depositing the rental for this month; therefore I request you to give me some days more to complete the payment.

I hope you will consider my previous actions and give me this chance to prove my sincere words.

Thank you very much.

With regards,
