Though it is always advisable that you should spend money wisely but if you need to write a letter to your parents specifying the reason for the money and don’t forget to ask them about their whereabouts. This is an informal letter so you can casual language.

How to Ask Your Dad for Money Over Text Sample?

You must show your concern for your parents in the first paragraph of the letter.
Inform the reason for writing the letter.
To request money, you must give the reason in writing.
Explain your current financial status and request for transferring the money to your account.
You can close the letter by showing respect to your parents and love and affection for the family members.

How are you? I hope that mom and Hanna are also fine there. I have written this letter to you because our School is taking all the students of class ninth and tenth to an educational tour of California.

The tour will consist of a seminar of a well-known scientist, D.R. Bryant Roger and we will get to visit the national university of information and technology and a visit to some historical landmarks in California like the gold discovery state historic park and old town San Diego state history park.

To go on this trip we have to Submit an amount of 500 dollars to our class teachers and I only have a sum of 100 dollars in my bank account.

I really want to attend this trip and because it will be a good enhancement for my knowledge and I request you to please transfer me 400 dollars to my bank account in advance as soon as you can do, so I can submit the amount to go to the trip. Take care of mom Hanna and yourself
