Studying in a college you not just gain knowledge but you gain other experiences as well as you take part in cultural programs, annual fests and so. Participating in such events makes you a better person physically as well as mentally.

Whether it is in the form of singing or dancing or taking part in debates, quiz shows, etc, you get a chance to evolve. But in order to take part in it, you often need permission from your parents first. Go through this sample letter created by me if you want to frame your ideal one.

Dear parents,

This letter is to inform you about the college event that will be held on (mention date and time) in our college premises itself. There will be a lot of culture and other activities. Many guests will come and guide us with their speeches and Ted talks. I have also participated in one of the cultural programs and for this, I want your permission to attend the program.

As, this will be conducted in the college, and this program will end late at night, due to which college authority is asking for permission from our respective parents. I am very much interested in this culture program and its function.

Through this function, I will be able to learn many new things and even will get a chance to explore my talent with others. This will help me to grow my confidence more. This will help me to overcome my stage fear and will get a chance to learn more from different speakers of the day.

This is my request to please grant my permission and let me take part in this program. I will be highly obliged to you. This will give me a lot of chances to learn more.
