Right from the day I first entered your home as your daughter-in-law; you have always cared about me, loved me, and have never made me feel like I came from another family. You have loved me more than your own son. Whenever we used to argue and fight, you always supported me and stood by me, taking my side. I have got an opportunity to learn so much from you when there was a time when I hardly knew anything.

When I first entered this family as your daughter-in-law, I was very nervous thinking about how I am going to manage things. I knew nothing about how things work here and constantly worried about making you and your father-in-law upset, but you always encouraged me and were patient with me, for which I will always be grateful to you. I have never been scolded by you for anything and you were as good to me as my own mother. You were always pretty chilled about almost everything, believing in me that I will be able to do it.

I couldn’t have been able to say so much verbally. You know how nervous I get [laughs] but writing down to you, I feel like I have said it all that I so wished to tell you for so long. Please stay the same always.

There is another good news for you guys. Listening to your advice, I have taken up a job over here. It’s in the creative field and I am loving it. I am presented with new challenges every day and I am so enjoying my work and learning new things.

You have always been right that until and unless I take the plunge, I will never understand how things work, and once again, I thank you for being my sweet mother and I always wish you and dad to stay safe and well.

My father is not doing well. Suffering from anxiety issues, his health has been deteriorating lately. Letter to Mother-In-Law About Pregnancy News

Dear mother-in-law,

There is this good news that I want to share with you. Soon someone is coming to call you granny! Yes mother, I am pregnant!

The baby is living inside me and will come to this world in a few months’ time. I cannot believe this is happening! When I first heard it from [mention the name of your doctor], I was so surprised that I couldn’t say anything for a few moments. That’s why I have been feeling weird lately, having crazy mood swings, and puking often, thinking that I might have eaten too much. Silly me!

He has not been letting me go to the office, suggesting I do the work here at home. He has been taking care of me, treating me like a glass doll!

Though I am very happy about it, at the same time, I am pretty nervous about how good I will be as a mother. Your son says that together we will manage it all and will be good parents to our baby, always. He’s more confident and positive and the entire credit goes to you. You have raised him so well and it’s because of you that I have got such a good husband.

I hope I will be able to become like you. I need your love, support, and care. Please do visit us soon. I have a lot to learn from you and I am looking forward to this journey and experience along with you all there with me, by my side.
