I greatly appreciate the opportunity to interview for the role of “ role name”. It was overwhelming for me to learn about your organization and high work ethics. Though as you must have seen that I applied for this job couple of months ago and with no concrete results I have taken up a part-time opportunity which will last for another couple of months.

I have a colleague who I feel is a  very good fit for this opportunity. I have known him for quite some time now and he possesses almost the same skills as mine and would definitely be a good fit for the role. If you are interested then I can share his contact details with you or ask him to reach out to you on the same email.

Hopefully, the timing will be better at some point in the future and if this role remains open for the next coming months, I would definitely reach out to you so that we can figure something out.
