In order to recommend the name of one of your former students for a given university, you should write a Letter of Endorsement to the Dean of the said university. To write such a letter you should use a formal tone. You shall mention the name, and qualifications of the candidate.
You should mention his commendable achievements and the attitudinal attributes of the person that make him stand out in the crowd. To write such a letter you may go through the templates given below which shall guide you well.
