Respected Sir/madam,

This is for your information that I am working as a full-time employee in your organization in the marketing department for four years. This letter is regarding the issue in availing the entitled earned leaves.

Last month, due to a medical emergency of my mother, I had to opt for earned leave for a period of twenty days as my casual leaves are already utilized. The emergency was a sudden one as she suffered from cardiac arrest and had to undergo heart surgery. 

As a loyal and dedicated employee of the company, I have never availed any earned or sick leaves in the last four years. I could not opt for casual leave as they were already utilized. To my amazement, when I received the salary for this month, the amount was deducted for twenty days instead of utilizing from the earned leaves reserve.

This is completely unethical and unacceptable. My pay was deducted without utilizing the leaves. I even tried to contact the HR operation department regarding this but they shockingly informed me that my earned leaves are frozen in the portal. This has put in emotional and financial trauma and I don’t expect this kind of behavior from the company.

I have worked hard for the company and this is the reward I get. I really don’t understand what the matter behind me is. I would appreciate it if you could help me on this matter on priority.
